  • Working outside is a joy for me and I love to see lawns becoming lush, green and beautiful! I am fully qualified (see below) and you’ll see from my reviews I am professional, reliable, punctual and want you to receive the absolute best care for your lawn.

  • Now is the best time to start improving your lawn. We can start your lawn care programme at any point in the year.

  • There is never a bad time to start improving your lawn. You can start your lawn care at any time of the year.

  • It’s very rare to come across a lawn which is beyond repair. Many of my customers are amazed by the difference the treatments make. Your bespoke treatments are designed to reinvigorate your lawn.

  • This will depend on the time of year and initial treatment, but usually after one treatment you will notice the weeds are diminishing and the grass is starting to look greener within a couple of weeks.

  • Yes, my feeds typically have twice the nutritional value, and last longer than store bought granular feeds or those a gardener can supply.

  • Lawns are great for the environment as grass is highly efficient at turning carbon dioxide into oxygen. According to The Lawn Institute a 150m2 healthy lawn produces enough oxygen to meet the daily oxygen needs of four people. Healthy lawns are also great feeding grounds for birds. When it comes to applying weedkillers, I only apply when weeds are visible and I use as many organic products as I can.

  • Yes, a moss control treatment will be included in both my packages. The treatment works by dehydrating the moss to help bring it under control. Aeration and scarification will then help prevent build-up of moss and it’s important not to cut your lawn too short.

  • The majority of my customers are not at home when I call and I can carry out the treatment as long as I have access to your lawn. If you would prefer to be at home when I’m treating your lawn that can be arranged.

  • Not immediately afterwards. But in dry periods your lawn will need a regular watering to ensure it stays healthy. The RHS states watering once a week to every 10 days is sufficient. In the middle of summer 1sqm needs about 20 litres of water and (if you want to be technical) ensure that the water reaches a depth of 10cm after each watering.

  • In order for me to be able to see the weeds and allow any treatment to reach the roots I recommend that you don't cut your lawn 3 days before or after any treatment.

  • Yes, I have PA1 and PA6a City & Guilds qualifications which allow me to carry out all lawn care treatments.

  • Yes, but please keep off the lawn for 2 hours until any liquid treatment has dried. This also prevents contamination on other areas of your garden or staining a carpet or wooden floor if it were walked into your house. You’ll know what I will be applying prior to my visit.

Grazing pets such as rabbits and guinea pigs should be kept off the lawn for a minimum of two weeks or three cuts, whichever occurs latest, to avoid ingestion of applied treatments.
